Meet Zalman S. Davis: The man behind VAALNEWSREAD

Journalist and author Zalman S. Davis is the editor of The Henreaders Review, a literary magazine established in early 2018, based in Nigeria, and founder of The Croyez Literary Award.

He freelanced for a few esteemed publications throughout South Africa before becoming a fulltime author, writing crime novels based on court cases and conflicts in South Africa, and other countries.

He was nominated for The Henreaders Award for Fiction in 2018 for A Gathering Storm before landing a fulltime employment at THR.

He is the author of six books: three volumes of Afrikaans poetry, one teen fiction, one crime novella, and one full-length novel.

They are Halfgees, Swartwater, Warrelwind, Steal My Heart, The Mystery of the White Rose Serial Killer and A Gathering Storm.

His works have been translated into Afrikaans.

Zalman is also the brand ambassador for non-profit organisations, Purr Paws for Life and Brittle Bones South Africa
