TRUCK DRIVER HELD AT GUNPOINT
MIDVAAL. - A truck driver here was robbed at gunpoint on Monday (08 January).
This incident occurred across Ross poultry between Henley-on-Klip and Bloemendal.
It is alleged that the truck driver stopped beside the road to fix a flat tyre when four armed men stopped in a red Sedan. The driver was robbed of his possessions.
The perpretators left in a hurry, firing shots into the air.
No arrests have yet been made and no clear identification of the getaway-vehicle or of the perpetrators have yet been made.
