RUNNER AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER COLLAPSE

MEYERTON. - A man, believed to be 55-years-old, was in a critical condition after he collapsed here in a field on Saturday (13 January).

At approximately 08:30 a.m., ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene where bystanders were already performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the man. Paramedics took over and he was later airlifted to Union Hospital by the ER24 and One Plan Medical Helicopter for further medical care.
