DECOMPOSED BODY FOUND ON R42

MEYERTON. - The South African Police Services here have launched an inquest after a decomposed body was found on the R42 on Monday (15 January).
The decomposed body of an unknown man was found in a field next to the R42 Heidelberg/Meyerton Road, by a worker who was cutting grass.
According to Meyerton Police Spokesperson Constable Maria Letsele police received a phone call from the worker after he discovered the body. “Upon arrival Police started investigating, but the decomposed body could not be identified. Only the clothes of the deceased could be identified. He wore a navy blue jean, a purple and blue striped T-shirt and white Nike sneakers.
“A case of inquest has been opened for investigation."
