"ONE BULLET, EEN BOERE KIND"-MAN LANDS IN HOT WATER


VEREENIGING . - A Facebook user may find himself having to answer to a charge of inciting violence after he made a statement on Facebook during the Hoërskool Overvaal debacle recently.

The user,Aubery Thamasanqa Mabele, called on President Zuma to give him a gun to protect democracy. “One bullet, een Boere kind," he wrote.

Today, at approximately 09:00 a.m. the Democratic Alliance (DA) Emfuleni Caucus Leader Dady Mollo, Emfuleni Constituency Chairperson Isabel Lot and DA Ward 45 Councilor Elize Aucamp laid charges of incitement at the Vereeniging SAPS.

“Incitement to cause violence based on language must not be condoned.Any person or group is entitled to protest peacefully and to hold whatever view they wish within the guidelines of the law,” Mollo said.

"Ready to lay charges of incitement of violence against social media user, Aubery Thamasanqa Mabele, who in a Facebook post called on President Zuma to "give him a gun to defend our democracy", "… one bullet, een Boere kind" while checking in at Hoërskool Overvaal," Aucamp wrote in a Facebook post.
