MINIBUS AND LIGHT MOTOR VEHICLE COLLIDE, 13 INJURED

VANDERBIJLPARK. - Thirteen people were left injured here this morning (26 January) following a collision between a minibus and light motor vehicle at the Kariba and Playfair Road intersection.

.ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 07:00 a.m. to find both vehicles in the middle of the intersection, obstructing traffic. The occupants from both vehicles had already climbed out and were now seated on the side of the road.Paramedics assessed the patients and found that thirteen people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni and Mediclinic Vereeniging for further treatment.The local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
