WOMAN ATTACKED, STRUCK WITH WEAPON

MEYERTON. - A young woman was attacked here last night at a house in Galloway Street by three armed unknown men.

It is alleged that the lady and her sister were alone in the house when they heard noises coming from outside.

The lady went out to inspect when two of the assailants attacked her and struck her over the head with a weapon. As she dropped to the ground the men pounced on her.

The three assailants got spooked and took off when the neighbor's alarm was sounded.

The men were dressed in black T-shirts, black pants with multiple pockets, military-type boots and armed.

The South African Police Services along the CPF searched for the men but they were long gone.
