ELDERLY WOMAN DIES AFTER COLLISION WITH BAKKIE

VANDERBIJLPARK. - A woman, believed to be 69 years old, died here after being injured in a collision on the corner of Edison road and Andries Potgieter boulevard this morning.

At approximately 06:10 a.m., ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the woman entrapped in her vehicle.

After medics extricated the woman from her vehicle, they found that she sustained serious head injuries. She was treated and transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni where she was later declared dead.

The exact cause of this collision is not yet known.
