DECOMPOSED BODY FOUND IN VELD

MEYERTON. – The South African Police Services spokesperson, Constable Maria Letsele, reported that police have launched an investigation into the murder of a woman whose decomposed body was found in a veld in Alma Street.

The SAPS received a phone call from a passerby who discovered the body.

"When police arrived on the scene, they found that the woman had sustained a wound to the back of her head and that her body had begun to decompose. The deceased was wearing a black and white blouse, grey track suit pants and blue sandals. A blue overall trouser was found next to her, ” said Letsele.
