MAN KILLED IN HOME INVASION

MEYERTON. - A man was killed here Saturday afternoon (17 March) in an alleged home invasion at a residence in Golfpark.

ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by the community, finding local authorities and Fire Services already in attendance.

Paramedics were lead into the rear of a residence, where they found the body of a man, lying in the middle of a garden.

The man was assessed and found to have sustained a gunshot wound to his head and showed no signs of life.

Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
