FIREFIGHTERS SAVE GOAT FROM DROWNING

MEYERTON. - A Boerbok was saved here on Saturday (18 March) on the banks of the Vaal River.
It is alleged that during the Meyerton Parkrun members spotted the boerbok stranded on the riverbanks.
The poor fellow was stuck in the very thick mud after heavy rainfall from the previous night.
Midvaal Fire and rescue responded instantaneously and saved the boerbok from possible drowning.
