Midvaal signs pledge to promote and protect LGBTIQA+ freedom and rights

Midvaal. - The Midvaal Local Municipality has signed a pledge to promote and protect the rights and freedoms of the LGBTIQA+ community as we commemorate Freedom Day.

Executive Mayor Bongani Baloyi was joined by Access Section in hoisting the LGBTIQA+ rainbow flag, which will now stand permanently alongside our Midvaal, South African and AU flags to symbolise our commitment to advancing LGBTIQA+ rights.

Our MMCs and Ward Councillors have also pledged their support for the LGBTIQA+ community
